I take inspiration from my immediate landscape. Stepping out from my front door and then across nearby fields; it is the criss-cross of horse tracks, the secretive hedges, chance encounters and signs of life living besides, under and over our own - a sense of a shared time and space, this is at the heart of my work.

Working with stoneware and porcelain paperclay, I respond to these encounters, friendships, imaginings, through ceramic sculpture.
